Todos necesitamos una peque\u00f1a dosis de sal en cada una de nuestras c\u00e9lulas por lo que debemos comer sal todos los d\u00edas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:clamp(14px, 0.875rem + ((1vw - 3.2px) * 0.156), 16px);\">La sal juega un papel importante en la retenci\u00f3n de agua, la contracci\u00f3n muscular y contiene nutrientes que son vitales para nuestro est\u00f3mago; si el hombre renuncia a la sal se muere.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/section>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"echa-un-vistazo-al-por-que\">Echa un vistazo al por qu\u00e9:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"1-la-sal-ayuda-a-retener-el-agua-en-el-cuerpo\">1 \u2022 La sal ayuda a retener el agua en el cuerpo.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nuestros cuerpos dependen de electrolitos (sustancias que contienen iones que ayudan a comportarse como un conductor el\u00e9ctrico) , incluyendo la sal, para ayudar a llevar a cabo los impulsos el\u00e9ctricos que controlan muchas de las funciones de nuestro cuerpo. Para mantener nuestro cuerpo funcionando como es debido, \u00e9ste necesita la cantidad adecuada de electrolitos. Los electrolitos desencadenan mecanismos de la sed, que nos hacen consumir cantidades adecuadas de agua. Con esta agua, los ri\u00f1ones son capaces de mantener la cantidad apropiada de electrolitos en nuestro torrente sangu\u00edneo. La cantidad de agua que nuestros cuerpos conservan tambi\u00e9n impacta la presi\u00f3n arterial. Piensa en esto: una gran cantidad de bares y restaurantes ofrecen aperitivos salados gratuitos. \u00bfPor qu\u00e9? Porque ellos te dan sed y t\u00fa deseas comprar m\u00e1s bebidas!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"2-la-sal-estimula-la-contraccion-muscular\">2 \u2022 La sal estimula la contracci\u00f3n muscular.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La sal es importante para los nervios, ya que estimula la contracci\u00f3n muscular; esto tambi\u00e9n ayudar\u00e1 a evitar que tus m\u00fasculos se acalambren. La sal tambi\u00e9n mantiene el calcio y otros minerales en el torrente sangu\u00edneo, estimula las gl\u00e1ndulas suprarrenales y es muy importante en la prevenci\u00f3n de la postraci\u00f3n por calor y la insolaci\u00f3n, sobre todo durante los meses calurosos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"3-la-sal-contiene-nutrientes-vitales-para-el-sistema-digestivo\">3 \u2022 La sal contiene nutrientes vitales para el sistema digestivo.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La sal juega un papel principal en los procesos de digesti\u00f3n y absorci\u00f3n. La sal activa una enzima en la boca llamada amilasa salival. En este punto, la sal activa tu paladar para degustar la comida y juega un papel en la digesti\u00f3n, ayudando a descomponer los alimentos. La sal tambi\u00e9n crea \u00e1cido clorh\u00eddrico. El \u00e1cido clorh\u00eddrico es una secreci\u00f3n digestiva muy importante que cubre las paredes del est\u00f3mago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"4-la-falta-de-sal-te-pone-en-peligro\">4 \u2022 La falta de sal te pone en peligro.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La deficiencia de sodio es una condici\u00f3n de salud donde el cuerpo no recibe un suministro adecuado de sal. La deficiencia de sodio puede llegar a ser extremadamente frecuente en temperaturas altas que hacen que el cuerpo sude mucho y presente deshidrataci\u00f3n. Mientras m\u00e1s deporte practica una persona, es menos recomendable la reducci\u00f3n de sal, ya que al hacer ejercicio se suda y con el sudor se elimina la sal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Incluso en los adultos mayores que no beben suficiente l\u00edquido y toman medicamentos diur\u00e9ticos, la reducci\u00f3n de sal en su comida, trae como resultado la p\u00e9rdida de sodio y potasio, que puede conducir a la confusi\u00f3n o el desmayo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La deficiencia de sodio puede llevar a un shock si la presi\u00f3n arterial se reduce con demasiada severidad. La sal es importante para un buen estado nutricional. Demasiado poco puede causar alteraciones en el tejido de agua y el equilibrio \u00e1cido-base.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"los-estudios-cientificos\">Los estudios cient\u00edficos<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"primer-estudio\">Primer estudio<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Un estudio en 2012 muestra que de 2747 pacientes con problemas cardiacos a una parte se les redujo el consumo diario de sal, sin embargo, presentaban una tasa de mortalidad de un 95% mayor que aquellos pacientes que com\u00edan sal normalmente (investigadores James J DiNicolantonio, Pietro Di Pasquale, etc. -Low sodium versus normal sodium). Este estudio es un primer indicio de que la restricci\u00f3n de sal puede causar m\u00e1s problemas de salud, incluso en personas que tienen problemas del coraz\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lo \u00fanico cierto es que la reducci\u00f3n de consumo de sal reduce la presi\u00f3n arterial en sujetos sanos y algo m\u00e1s en pacientes hipertensos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Por otro lado, la mayor parte de la sal que consumimos proviene de los productos procesados (enlatados, embolsados, enfrascados, congelados, etc) . Para conocer el verdadero valor de sal que tienen esos productos deber\u00e1 multiplicarse el valor de sodio que indica la etiqueta por 2.54 cuyo resultado ser\u00e1 la cantidad de sal que est\u00e1s ingiriendo. En nuestro art\u00edculo \u00ab<a href=\"http:\/\/marhuez.com\/es\/content\/como-calcular-el-sodio-en-los-alimentos\">c\u00f3mo calcular el sodio en los alimentos<\/a>\u00bb te mostramos paso a paso c\u00f3mo hacerlo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El cuerpo humano responde a la ingesta de sal con la liberaci\u00f3n de dopamina lo que produce una sensaci\u00f3n de recompensa inmediata, por eso es tan dif\u00edcil dejarla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"segundo-estudio\">Segundo estudio<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En un estudio realizado en un laboratorio independiente en Alemania para saber la cantidad de sal que se adiciona a los productos industrializados se pens\u00f3 en los productos que se consumen en una comida y se obtuvieron los siguientes resultados:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Productos (muestras tomadas arbitrariamente para ser examinadas):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Pan en bollo<\/li><li>Jam\u00f3n de la selva negra<\/li><li>Pizza congelada<\/li><li>Filetes de arenque.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"procedimiento\">Procedimiento:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Los alimentos se trituran, se hierben y se mezclan con una soluci\u00f3n l\u00edquida. Un espect\u00f3metro determina el contenido de sodio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"el-resultado\">El resultado:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De inicio los Filetes de arenque, una porci\u00f3n tiene 5.64 gr. (lo que resulta ser la cantidad total diaria recomendada), vienen despu\u00e9s 100 gr de Jam\u00f3n que contienen 4.19 gr, dos bollos de pan que contienen 1.96 gr y se a\u00f1ada una pizza tama\u00f1o individual entera que contiene 4.39 gr. Todo esto resulta en 16.18gr de sal lo cual super\u00f3 la cantidad diaria recomendada por casi 3 veces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"conclusion\">Conclusi\u00f3n:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Como puedes ver, comer sal es saludable, el problema es que comemos demasiada sal en los productos procesados que consumimos, aqu\u00ed viene al caso la frase c\u00e9lebre de Paracelso \u201c <a href=\"http:\/\/akifrases.com\/frase\/138991\">Nada es veneno, todo es veneno: la diferencia est\u00e1 en la dosis.<\/a> \u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La Organizaci\u00f3n Mundial de la salud recomienda no ingerir m\u00e1s de 5.5 gr de sal al d\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Lo que s\u00ed es bien sabido es que la sal incrementa su efecto da\u00f1ino si se combina con estr\u00e9s, dando como resultado presi\u00f3n alta.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Con base en lo expuesto, debemos destacar que los productos industrializados son los que est\u00e1n llevando a nuestros cuerpos al borde del colapso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Si algo he aprendido, es que la modernidad nos est\u00e1 matando con los <a href=\"http:\/\/marhuez.com\/es\/content\/como-calcular-el-sodio-en-los-alimentos\">alimentos procesados<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/marhuez.com\/es\/content\/sabias-que-el-wifi-nos-esta-enfermando\">la radiaci\u00f3n wifi<\/a> , el cambio de frecuencia musical, la alteraci\u00f3n del ciclo circadiano por la luz, etc. As\u00ed que, si tu objetivo es mantener tu cuerpo sano el mayor tiempo posible, un primer paso es descartar de tu alacena y nevera todos los productos procesados que puedas y empezar a comer al natural; es decir, que t\u00fa mismo compres tus alimentos y los prepares y NO adicionar diario la comida con: jugo maggi, salsa de soya, aderezos comerciales, etc. Tambi\u00e9n deber\u00e1s proponerte bajar las horas de trabajo (bajar el estr\u00e9s), hacer ejercicio y tomar tus ratos de esparcimiento con la familia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a1Tu cuerpo te lo agradecer\u00e1!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Fuentes consultadas:<br><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=6IQ53FYe7FI\">Video de Deutsche Welle &#8212; Tema: Sal buena, sal mala.<\/a>\n<br>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/heart.bmj.com\/content\/early\/2012\/08\/21\/heartjnl-2012-302337\">Heart &#8212; Tema: Sodio bajo vs sodio alto.<\/a>\n<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>La sal com\u00fan es esencial.
